My girlfriend and masturbation…

My girlfriend and I are christians. She doesn’t know I masturbate but I know it’s becoming something I shouldn’t do. It’s not right from a Christian POV and I know it but it’s something that is very difficult to stop. All the time I say “this is going to be the last time” or something like that, but I don’t follow through with it.

She doesn’t know I masturbate but is it something I should stop doing since I am Christian? I mean, she obviously doesn’t want sex until marriage and I have no problem at all with it so is it kind of childish to be doing this when she doesn’t want sex and since we both are trying to live Christian lives? She wouldn’t like it if she found out I’m doing this.

This is something which i find very commonly asked and i am not exactly sure why. Anyways, to start off there is nothing in the bible that says masturbation is off limits to Christians. The one major thing i recall and had sources tell me was to avoid sex till marriage. Odds are that your girlfriend will or has masturbated herself, of course that depends on how old she is. As she gets older the more likely she is to have.

The truth is that masturbation is normal for teenagers who are learning about and experiencing puberty, regardless of gender. And there’s nothing wrong with it as long as it doesn’t become something you get addictive to. Also i don’t see how it could be considered childish, as it’s perfectly normal and it has nothing to do with your girlfriend.
