Help Please, Exboyfriend dumped me for no reason

I really like this guy, and we’ve been friends since like 5th grade. we went out for like a month, but he broke up with me for no apparent reason. i still like him a lot, and i think he still likes me a lot. but like when we were going out, we are both kinda shy so we don’t talk much in person, but talk a lot on aim. and he told me he loved me, but on aim… and doesn’t really seem like he did in person. so idk… help?

First off your only in 7th or 8th grade going by your age, so don’t worry about dating so much. Trust me, i used to think it was something that was important but the truth is, it really wasn’t. If you are wondering why he broke up with you, the best advice i can give you is to go talk to him. He’s the only person in the world who knows, and the sooner you sit down and ask him what was the reason the sooner you can attempt to fix whatever was the said “problem”.

About being shy, you can’t be afraid of being yourself and having fun. If he’s going to date you he’s going to do it because he likes you. So if your scared to mess up or say something wrong than you shouldn’t be dating him. So if you wanna date him just relax he wanted to date you for a reason and it was for being yourself.
